In case the girls haven't seen their emails recently, CBVC Women 1 have a chance to play a top Maltese Ladies volleyball team on Sun 3rd or Mon 4th Sept. They're coming to visit for a training camp and are keen to have some games while they are here. A good opportunity to get some pre season match practice.

I can make the morning of Sun 3rd (have to be back in Bristol by lunchtime), but Monday evening is much better for me.

For those of you who were not at training last night, it looks possible that the match with the Maltesers may be played as a tournament on Sunday 3rd September in Cardiff. Yvonne who is trying to organise the matches has said several teams wanted matches and therefore the easiest thing to do would be to do a tournament starting at about 11am and finishing about 5pm. Other teams possibly going to be involved are Cardiff Tigers, Cardiff Ladies, Dulwich and Portsmouth. Paul was wanting to know people's views so if you have any speicifc comments eg. you can't play etc please let him know. Personally I think it's a fantastic chance for us to get a load of pre season matches and we can use the day as a training day to try things out etc. Bring it on!

Friendly games against Maltesers and Dulwich Tuskers kindly arranged by Cardiff Tigers at UWIC Cyncoed Campus on Sunday 3rd September.

First match for us starts at 10am so we need to meet at my place at 8.30 not 9.30 as previously notified. It will be a full day, last game planned at 4.00pm. I cab give a lift to two people.

I am still struggling a little bit to get all players there to make it work. I do know that some people cannot make it.
